Starting your own business
Jo Robertson met Steffi at an online credibility seminar. And though they weren’t physically in the same room, the former naturally gravitated towards Steffi’s inspiring and positive energy.
Quitting your full-time job and starting a business is a challenge by itself, and (just like many entrepreneurs) Jo Robertson wasn’t finding it to bean easy one. Well, nobody said that managing clients, making sure they’re happy, and growing your business is going to be a smooth sailing ride. But it can be a fun and fulfilling one when you shift your mindset and ditch the pieces of baggage that are making your vessel heavy.
Giving yourself the permission to rest
Rest is not the absence of work. On the contrary, it enables one to perform better. Theoretically, we already know that. But actually unsubscribing to the belief system that you’re being productive when you’re doing a lot of things does not happen overnight.
Jo Robertson started small– she allowed herself to start work at 10 am and took her dog on walks at lunchtime as a break. Jo’s sessions with Steffi helped her realize that she’s running her OWN business and she only has to answer to herself and her clients. Jo broke down her work into smaller tasks and gave herself permission not to finish everything in a day.
She became kinder to herself, which is an important thing that a lot of entrepreneurs are not doing enough.
The Transformation
Jo Robertson is not only making progress in her professional life but on a personal level as well. She went from being stressed out 24/7 to becoming more relaxed and in control of her emotions. More opportunities are opening up for her, and she’s more than ready to take them.
